VERY IMPORTANT CONDITION – Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18) at all times in the leisure centre.
The Leisure Centre is purpose built with a large indoor heated swimming pool, excellent fitness room, sauna (coin op), old fashioned skittle alley, pool table (coin op) and table tennis. A sitting / viewing area and information centre are on the top floor while changing rooms, showers etc. are downstairs. There is also a coin operated laundry and outside drying lines.
But Why Not Learn To Swim As Part Of A Family Holiday?
Stay in one of our cosy well equipped centrally heated cottages at any time of year, and we will time your swimming lessons to suit your holiday, leaving most of the day free to explore this beautiful area. Pets are welcome and as we are near to the Wales Coastal Path we can usually provide maps, routes, drop offs/pick ups etc. Cwm Tydu is our nearest beach and roughly half way between New Quay and Llangrannog. Dolphins and Seals are a common sight and it is not unusual to be able to see most of Cardigan Bay (from Bardsey Island and Snowdon in the North to St Davids Head in the South and even the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland given good visibility.)
Other than when in use for lessons (not often more than one a day) the pool is available for general use, ie. to practise, play and generally enjoy.
