Ty Hen Farm lies midway between the coastal towns of New Quay and Llangrannog and is within walking distance (35 minutes) of the sea at Cwmtydu Cove (renowned for its smugglers caves and seals). It is the ideal place for a relaxing break from the stresses and strains of modern day life.

Ty Hen Farm Holiday Cottages

A small sheep farm tucked away from it all down a 300 yard tarmac lane, Ty Hen has developed since 1983 into an unique holiday destination by the resident owners, Roni and Mike Kelly. The holiday cottages are graded 3 star (at our choice) by Visit Wales and all visitors have the benefit of the comprehensive facilities. A recently installed bio mass heating system and large array of solar panels provide all the heating and most of the lighting.

Attractions around the holiday cottages

Beautiful sandy beaches, dramatic headlands, quaint little towns and villages provide scope for peaceful holidays while a variety of attractions within a reasonable distance give opportunity for exploration, thrills and excitement. The National Coast Path of Wales, Folly Farm, Welsh Wildlife Centre, 3 little railways, Llanerchaeron National Trust Estate, The National Wool Museum and numerous castles are all within range. Wildlife enthusiasts are well catered for by dolphins, porpoises, seals and the bird life which includes red kites, buzzards and choughs.
